Leah is FOUR!
Yes, our little Leah is now FOUR! I honestly can't believe that she has been in our lives for four years! I think our lives would be pretty bland without this little bundle of energy! We sure do love having her around :).
She just loved that I spelled her name with pancakes! She actually ate them too...it was a miracle! I guess I'll have to start doing this more often if it means she'll actually eat it!
Leah got a lot of phone calls from family on her birthday, but the first one was the most special...from her Daddy! She was just beaming when he called to talk to her. Talk about a Daddy's Girl!
Then it was time to open gifts. She opted to not wait until Doug got home, and I don't really blame her :).
Some of her gifts were a Hello Kitty lunchbox from Isaac, spring/summer clothes, a game, and...
...a bike helmet from Noah! But, of course, she needed a bike to go with her new helmet!
And that's what she got from mom and dad :). And, let me just say, this bike is a little treasure to this little gal. She LOVES it! She is constantly wanting to go outside and ride her new bike around, and she would do it all day long if I let her. I'm so, SO, glad that she is enjoying her new little toy. Makes me happy :).
We spent most of the day at home relaxing. After taking Noah to school, we headed to the park for a good hour of play. It was such a beautiful day...we could have stayed all day! When we asked Leah what she wanted to do that evening, she said she wanted to go swimming, so that is what we did! After a fun time of playing at the pool, we went to dinner, then home for cake and ice cream!
Noah and Isaac had a fun day celebrating Leah's birthday too. This girl sure does love her brothers!
The following weekend, we went to my parent's house for some more celebrating! Our visit pretty much consisted of food, presents, cake, and Leah riding her bike!
I had to get one picture of us with Leah...and this was the best picture! The expression on Leah's face is just priceless.
It was really a wonderful week of celebrating Leah. We sure do love this little girl! She is definitely a spicy little thing, but she's also as sweet as they come! We love you Leah...to the moon and back!!

Cravings
I haven't craved much this pregnancy, but today I was in need of a cheeseburger from In-n-Out. I was feeling generous, so I got Leah and Isaac a chocolate shake to share...they must have had a craving for it because it was all gone by the one we got home. I don't want to ever hear them say that I don't get them anything...those shakes are like gold if you ask me! Luck ducks ;).

Pure Entertainment
We had our carpets cleaned yesterday, so it was my job to keep the kiddos contained in the kitchen for a good part of the morning. What a task that was! Noah and Leah found the puppets and kept coming up with these hilarious puppet shows. Entertainment at it's best!!

Curls
I adore this little princess...I really can't imagine not having her around. Yes, she is totally full of too much attitude, and she talks SO much, and she's so, SO emotional...but that's just who she is. One thing that I just adore about Leah is that she is such a girly girl and loves to look pretty at all costs! Today, I was playing with her hair and ended up curling all these little ringlets. She was so excited with her new little hairdo and kept giving me hugs and telling me "thank you" with the biggest grin on her face! I love how little things like this can make her so dang happy! I keep catching her in the bathroom looking in the mirror...makes me smile every time! Love her to pieces...that's for sure!

"Bubbles"
Isaac is beginning to talk a LOT...his vocabulary is growing each and every day. We always look forward to what he is going to say next. Lately, whenever he is in the tub, he begs for bubbles. He will say "more bubbles" over and over again until I deliver. One of the kids favorite things for me to do is to put them in my bath with bubbles...and then turn on the jets! The bubbles multiply in record time and they just freak out! It's so funny to watch! Isaac especially loves being in the tub with TONS of bubbles...as you can see :).

Beautiful
The weather has been beyond beautiful the past week. I can just taste spring and summer...I'm SO excited! Of course, our days have been spent outside playing...it's wonderful! My kids can only take so much of being inside, and so can I! I'm so thankful for where we live and all of the fun things that we can do outside. We have a lot of little parks around us too, and these pictures are from our first little "park outing" this year. I'm looking forward to many more :).
My Leah is finally brave enough to cross these bars.
Isaac trying to be like his big sis...
Noah was so happy to be at the park and was taking in every moment! This boy absolutely LOVES being out and running around :).
He was so nice to little Isaac and took him down the slide over and over again. Isaac was thrilled every time!

My Snuggle-bug
Noah has always been a snuggler...and I LOVE it. I can always rely on him to snuggle up with me at night to watch a movie, or read a book. It's always one of the highlights of my day :). Love him!
