Pure Sweetness!

Our sweet Baby Kate is going to be *six* months old tomorrow. I don't know how I feel about this milestone, so here's a picture of her precious face, pouty lip and all, before she's officially half a year old. Man...I seriously can't get enough of her!

First Grader

I was so excited to see Noah's school picture this year. It's totally him...forced smile and all.

Noah had his first parent/teacher conference last week. He came along with Doug and I to meet with his teacher, who informed us of how well he is doing! On a scale of 1-4, he got a 4 on everything (reading, math, participation...). When I asked her if we needed to work on anything, all she said was to focus on writing lower case "y"'s, since Noah usually writes them all upper case. Alrighty then...we'll work on it!!

Doug and I are so proud of Noah and how well he is doing in school. He never complains about anything and thoroughly enjoys his class. If you were to ask him what he likes the most about school, he'd say recess! No surprise there :). I'm so grateful that he is going to such a great school an had such a great teacher this year. Makes me happy to know that he has made the adjustment to going to school all day so well.  I'll admit that I was a bit worried, but I'm not anymore.  The only problem is that I haven't adjusted to him being gone all day.  I miss him like crazy each and every day!  I know, I KNOW, that he is where he is supposed to be, but that doesn't mean that I don't wish he was home with me.  He's a special little guy and I so look forward to the moment that he walks in the door after school every day!  Having him home with me is where I feel the most comfortable, but to know that he is making the most of being at school makes me feel so great.  I love this little guy SO much it hurts!  I just still can't believe that I have a first grader!  And a very cute first grader, at that!

Sisters are the PERFECT Best Friend

I found a quote a while ago that I printed and put in Leah's room that says "Sisters are the PERFECT best friend". I don't have a sister of my own, but I was fortunate enough to marry a man with FIVE! I'm grateful to call them all my sister and they have become so special to me. It warms my heart to know that my girls will always have one another to lean on :).  Aren't they adorable!

"My First UTAH T-Shirt"

All of my little ones have sported this Utah shirt. It makes me smile whenever I put it on my babies...it feels like just yesterday Doug and I were buying it to put on Noah!  Oh how the years have flown by and now I am putting it on baby #4.  Crazy talk!  She makes this shirt look good...now if only our UTES would start winning!!

Us

I have been trying to get a family picture taken of us all summer, but one thing kept happening over and over again...Isaac kept bonking his head! I, of course, felt so badly for my little bruiser, and after the third hit, started to become very aware of what Isaac was doing so that it wouldn't happen again! Well, I'm happy to say that Isaac is all better, and to celebrate we finally went and got some pictures taken! Thank you, Alli, for taking them for us! I didn't really expect the kiddos to smile on cue, but they did alright. At least they're not crying! ;) I'm just happy to have a decent picture of us to share. Man, oh man, I love these people SO much it hurts. Family really is an amazing thing, and I'm thankful to call them all mine :).
