Isaac's First Day of Preschool

Isaac had to wait two whole weeks before school started for him.  And let me just say that he was SO excited to finally go!  He has been looking forward to preschool for quite some time!  I sure do love the passion that Isaac has for this kind of stuff!!

...he was SO excited!  

And how lucky is he to be able to go to school with Shea!  Lucky ducks!

Miss Tanya is the best preschool teacher around!  I'm so happy that Isaac gets to learn with her...he will definitely be a smart cookie at the end of this year because of her...and hopefully I help along the way too :).

Enough pictures already, mom!!  I can't help it though...look at how cute he is!  Love this little preschooler of mine to the moon and back!  

Ben ~ 2 months

Two months old...I can't believe it!  

...sleeps great!  He takes 3 good naps during the day and wakes up every 3 hours at night to eat, but has had a few nights where he has slept 5 hours. Those days are my favorite...I feel like a new person with a few extra hours of uninterrupted sleep. 

...is still in 0-3 month clothes. 

...weighs 11 pounds 9 ounces. 

...is so so strong and can hold his head up whenever he is on his belly or on our shoulder.  He just loves to look around and has the most amazing neck control.  I guess he's getting bigger whether we like it or not.  

...{still} doesn't like his car seat. He just cries and cries the entire time.  Makes for some interesting car rides.

...loves to be held and prefers to be in mine or Doug's arms. We're totally ok with that too.  I have put the Baby Bjorn and sling to very good use.  Not that I'm complaining much...love holding my babe nice and close.

...is starting to smile and we just love it so much!  Sometimes it's hard to get a smile out of him, but when we do...oh boy...it's the best!  We all get so excited over those smiles.

...still spits up after every feeding, and sometimes in between.  We go through a LOT of burp clothes around here.

...loves bath time so much!  If he ever gets really fussy, then I just draw a bath for him and he gets so happy.  The only downfall is that he doesn't want to get out once he's in.

Let the soccer season begin...

Soccer season has started with full force!  

Noah is on an absolutely amazing team this year!  He went and tried out for a team in our neighborhood and he made it!  I was so happy that he was able to get on a team with boys that he goes to school with.  He is so excited to go to practice and he gets along SO well with all of the boys!  Plus they play really well together!  It's so fun to watch them!  I so look forward to these boys playing together in years to come.  And look at how cute my boy is all geared up...love him!

My Leah can be very girlie, but she is one tough girlie when she's on the soccer field.  I think that all of those years of watching Noah play soccer is showing its worth!  She was so excited to be on the same team as last year...she loves all of her friends and has such a great coach.  Not to mention that the assistant coach is her daddy!  Plus we got her some new PINK soccer cleats...that makes for one happy soccer player.

And Isaac...we have been waiting to put this little guy in soccer since he was ONE!  No joke!  He has always LOVED to play soccer and he has been dying to be on his own team.  The day of his first practice was a moment to remember!  When he was handed his very first jersey, his face lite up with so much excitement.  AND he pretty much wore his jersey every chance that he could for that week!  He is still learning how to play...but he is only 4, after all.  He is really good at kicking the ball around by himself, but playing with his team mates has proven to be a little hard.  I'm sure that he'll learn quickly though.  And look at how cute he looks in his soccer gear, that is just a tad to big for our little guy!  Love it!!
