Leah is FOUR!

Someone had a birthday, and she made sure that everyone knew about it :) ...Yes, our little Leah is now FOUR! I honestly can't believe that she has been in our lives for four years! I think our lives would be pretty bland without this little bundle of energy! We sure do love having her around :).
Now, Leah has been counting down the days until her birthday since her birthday last year! No joke! Needless to say, she was incredibely excited when her actual birthday finally arrived. She was not at all shy to let anyone and everyone know that it was her special day and that she was now four. Not one bit!! We started her day off by singing to her and making her a special little breakfast. She just loved that I spelled her name with pancakes! She actually ate them too...it was a miracle! I guess I'll have to start doing this more often if it means she'll actually eat it!Leah got a lot of phone calls from family on her birthday, but the first one was the most special...from her Daddy! She was just beaming when he called to talk to her. Talk about a Daddy's Girl! Then it was time to open gifts. She opted to not wait until Doug got home, and I don't really blame her :). Some of her gifts were a Hello Kitty lunchbox from Isaac, spring/summer clothes, a game, and......a bike helmet from Noah! But, of course, she needed a bike to go with her new helmet! And that's what she got from mom and dad :). And, let me just say, this bike is a little treasure to this little gal. She LOVES it! She is constantly wanting to go outside and ride her new bike around, and she would do it all day long if I let her. I'm so, SO, glad that she is enjoying her new little toy. Makes me happy :).We spent most of the day at home relaxing. After taking Noah to school, we headed to the park for a good hour of play. It was such a beautiful day...we could have stayed all day! When we asked Leah what she wanted to do that evening, she said she wanted to go swimming, so that is what we did! After a fun time of playing at the pool, we went to dinner, then home for cake and ice cream!

Noah and Isaac had a fun day celebrating Leah's birthday too. This girl sure does love her brothers! The following weekend, we went to my parent's house for some more celebrating! Our visit pretty much consisted of food, presents, cake, and Leah riding her bike! I had to get one picture of us with Leah...and this was the best picture! The expression on Leah's face is just priceless. It was really a wonderful week of celebrating Leah. We sure do love this little girl! She is definitely a spicy little thing, but she's also as sweet as they come! We love you Leah...to the moon and back!!
