BOOM!

Don't let that smile fool you...Isaac has had a rough summer! Can you see how scratched up his face is!?!?! It's horrible, and it breaks my heart! Isaac is becoming very accident prone...he has fallen and hit his face so many times, that I can't even keep track! And it always happens when I'm not near him...seriously!

It all started with the worst hit of all. Doug and I were getting ready to go and pick up Noah and Leah and my parent's house. Isaac was walking down the stairs to the garage when he slipped and fell right on his face! He got two really bad cuts on his left eye brow, so we headed straight to Instacare, where they had to give him stitches. It was seriously the worst experience...to hear Isaac scream uncontrollably and not be able to comfort him and calm him down was the worst feeling ever as a parent. Doug and I tried our best to keep him calm, and we were able to do so when it was just us in the room, but as soon as one of the nurses or doctor came in, he just lost it. And I don't blame him one bit! It was scary, and I can't imagine what it felt like for him. The worst part was when they actually did the stitches...absolutely horrible! As soon as they were done, Doug and I grabbed Isaac and we were out of there! We knew that he would be better as soon as we left, and we were right. He was fine as soon as we got to the car, thank goodness! All he said to us was "I want a sno shack"...and that's what he got!Yes, that was a pretty sad day around here. But it gets worse!

The day we went to go and get his stitches out, he ran into the table and got a bad bump on the right side of his head!

THEN he tripped over a toy last week and landed face first on another toy and got a fat lip!

THHHEEENNN, just last night, he fell over on his bike and landed right smack dab on his face!

SERIOUSLY!!!

Isaac needs to catch a break, cause he and I are both aching at all these accidents! His face is so scratched up right now...I can't help but ache when I look at him. He has also got in the habit of telling everyone he sees that he "fell and cracked his head open"!! Oh my...

But he's still happy and smiles all the time! Go figure!
