California ~ Day 3

We spent this day in Disneyland, which as so fun!  There was so much to see and do...it's hard to fit everything in, especially when the parks close early!  We tried to do as much as we could, and I think everyone was happy :).

First off, two mandatory family pics :).

 

We saw a lot of characters on this day.  Noah has never been into seeing them, but the other kids sure did!  Isaac LOVED waiting in line and he gave all of them big hugs when it was his turn.  So cute!

It was a *must* that we saw the princesses!  I was thrilled that the line wasn't very long...that's always a great thing!  Leah has been looking forward to seeing the princesses since we told her we were going to Disneyland.  It was so cute watching her go up to each of them and have a little conversation...that girl has no fear!  It really made my day seeing her with them :).

And then, after that wonderful experience with the princesses, we decided to scare Leah to death by taking her on Splash Mountain!  Oh boy...she did not like that ride at all!  Doug was pretty adamant about her going on it...I don't think she had a clue what she was in for when she agreed to go.  Her face in this pic says it all...

We continued our day by going to Tomorrow Land and riding all the rides there...the rocket ride was definitely one of their favorites.

We ended our day by going back to California Adventure for ice cream at the Ghiradelli Ice Cream Parlor...it was amazing!  And then we went to see the World of Color, which would have been more fun if all the kids could've seen better.  You win some, you loose some.  They were pretty exhausted by the end of the day...we definitely wore them out!
