California ~ Day 4

We took a break from Disney, and spent the day at the beach!  It really was the perfect day to go...the sun was out and there was a slight breeze in the air.  Perfect!  Noah was thrilled to play in the water and build a sand castle.  Leah, for some reason, was a bit terrified of the water and spent most of the time sitting on the towel eating...although she did decide to venture out towards the end.  Isaac had a blast laying in the sand and playing.  And Kate was a trooper and stayed in my arms pretty much the entire time...I knew that if she ate sand, that would be the end of it for her ;).  We really had a great afternoon!

That night...oh boy...Doug and I went to see The Killers!  Again!  Seriously, how lucky are we that our favorite band was performing TWO miles away from our hotel when we were there?!?!?  We contemplated whether or not we should go, but we knew we would be kicking ourselves if we didn't.  And, let me tell you, we were SO happy to have my mom with us once we decided to go :).  She was awesome and stayed with the kids while we spent the night jamming out to our favorite band.  Thanks, mom!  And it was amazing...absolutely amazing!  They put on the BEST show!  It was so worth it, and so fun to spend the time with my man ;).  We are seriously kids at heart...we sang to every song, and danced the entire time.  Love it!!!
