Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to you, and you, and you! I have always enjoyed Halloween, but this holiday is so much more fun know that I have kids! I have so enjoyed dressing Noah up the past three years, and this year I was able to add Leah to the mix...it was so much fun!
Noah was a COWBOY, and a great little cowboy he was! He would ride around on his little horsey and say "Giddy up"...absolutely darling! Leah was a PRINCESS, and what a beautiful little princess she was! What little girl doesn't like to dress up like a princess? I believe even 7 month olds enjoy this!
We went to Salt Lake this afternoon to show off the children's costumes to my mom and dad, and they so loved being able to see their cute grandkids all dress up. Then we came back to our end of the valley for some good ol' fashioned Trick-or-Treating. This was the first year that we have taken Noah out on Halloween, and I thought that he would be so into it, after all, he was going to be getting his favorite thing all evening long...candy, candy, candy! But, instead, he was a little confused by it...PLUS he wasn't feeling 100%, so that probably played a factor into his not-so-excited attitude. Once we were done going through the neighborhood, he headed to Steff's house and spent the remainder of the evening with the family, and we had a fabulous time! I so love being with family and I am so grateful that we have family {on both sides} to spend these holidays with! When we got home, the kids went straight to bed, and Doug and I were able to relax without kids...it was nice. Until next year...

Noah is ready...
...but he wanted his Daddy the entire time we were out {he is reaching for Doug in this picture}. I love how he loves Doug and cherishes every moment that he has with him. It is simply sweet!
ALSO...that is my CUTE nephew as Ratatouille, and Steff was the chef! How cute is that!?!?

Fun in the Tub

Leah loves taking a bath...loves it! The minute that we start getting her undressed to get in the tub, she starts to freak out by kicking her legs and laughing! The moment that you put her in the water she immediately starts splashing water everywhere, and this is accompanied by her cute little giggle. I am beginning to think that she has diaper explosions on purpose, just so that she can take a bath {she has been having a lot of these lately!}. Here are some pictures of Leah during her daytime bath today...

Close up...check out those eyes! Yes, I think that they are going to be brown.
Splish, splash!

Family Pictures

We had some family pictures taken at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon a few weeks ago, and I wanted to share them with you. Doug's cousin, Zach Jacob, took them for us and he did a fabulous job! I am so pleased with them! He was such a wonderful photographer and he knew how to make Noah smile, which was wonderful! Leah wasn't feeling 100%, so she's not smiling in many of the pictures, but, then again, I didn't really expect her to. Thank you, Zach!!!

Happy Birthday Karin!

Today we got together to celebrate Karin's {Doug's mom}Birthday! The food was fabulous and the company was great! We also dressed the kids up in their Halloween costumes, but they didn't stay on for long because their focus was on the Bouncy House in the Timothy basement {sorry, I forgot to take pictures of the wild and crazy kids...I'll get some next time :)}. After dinner, the kids decorated cupcakes, which was a huge hit. We hope that Karin had a fabulous day today :).

Pumpkin Patch

We are trying to get outside as much as we can before it gets too cold, so today we went with Christy and Milo to the Pumpkin Patch. We had a great time playing on the toys and seeing the little animals {goats, rabbits, birds, chickens, etc...}. Milo and Noah both love trains, so they were thrilled with the Union Pacific train came by chugging it's horn...that was probably the highlight of the trip. It was a nice day to get out and we had a fabulous time!

Noah holding up the line to go down the slide. He is a very cautious little guy.
Our two little clowns!

As always, Leah was a little angel and just sat and enjoyed the scenery while the boys ran around.

We were able to get a picture of the boys together....and they're smiling!
Cute boy!

Noah ~ 7 Months

I am trying to keep my word by posting some pictures of Noah when he was Leah's age. I absolutely love looking back on pictures of Noah when he was just a baby. It is sad because sometimes I don't remember him being so little...thank goodness I have tons of pictures to look back on :). Here's a look back at Noah during his 7th month of life...

Noah started to stand up in his crib during his 7th month, and this is a picture from the first time that he ever did it! I am so glad that I got this picture.

He was a chunky little guy!
Little Crawler!

He was such a smiley baby!
Once he discovered how to stand up, he would pull himself up on everything.
I love this picture with his two little teeth showing...so cute.

Leah ~ 7 Months

Didn't I just post that Leah was 6 months?? Boy...this month has gone by in a blink of an eye! Yes, Leah is 7 months old today! She is getting bigger every day and we just love her to pieces. It is so much fun for me to see how much she progresses each and every month. She is learning so much every day...it is amazing to watch.

~ She has become a little binkie baby! Leah didn't want anything to do with the binkie until this month. She doesn't want or need it all of the time, which I think is a good thing, but it is nice to have something that will soothe her when we are out and about!
~ She absolutely hates it when people get up in her face, and she will let you know this by screaming her heart out! Don't mess with this little girl!
~ She has become a very serious little thing and there are times that we have such a hard time trying to get a smile out of her. She could win a staring contest with anyone...she just looks at you with those big eyes and a straight face...it's pretty funny to watch!
~ Yes, she can be serious, but when she is in a really good mood, she won't stop showering us with her beautiful smile. I think the reason she has been a little somber this past month is because she has had a major cold and hasn't felt very good, which is so sad. But, she is feeling better and is starting to be less serious and more happy, thank goodness!
~ She is starting to babble a lot and we have so much fun listening to her. Check out the video below to see what I am talking about.
~ She is just barely starting to scoot around on her stomach. We will put a toy in front of her and she will use her legs to move forward to get her toy. She has actually pulled herself up on her knees a few times...I am sure that she will be crawling by next month...we'll see :).
~ She still likes to be held majority of the time, which is just fine with me :).
~ She has mastered sitting up, and she loves it when Noah sits with her and plays. Noah is so sweet and will share his toys with her, which is something that I am so grateful for! Leah is so lucky to have such a loving big brother! ~ Her eyes keep on changing colors, and we think that they are now going to be brown. At first, they started to look blue, but now they are getting more and more brown. I don't mind at all if both of my kids have my color eyes :).

She still loves to eat her feet.
So serious!
Leah LOVES tubby time! She especially loves eating her cup.
Beautiful girl!
I love the expression on her face in this picture.
Sound asleep...so sweet.
This is a fake cry. There were NO tears! I took this video today of Leah saying "Ba, ba, ba". I just had to share.
