Soccer

Soccer for Noah is now over. Almost every game was either cold or rainy, but we didn't let the weather keep us away. We made it to every game and cheered on Noah and his team as loud as we could. If you've seen 4 and 5 year olds play soccer before, then you know what I mean when I say that these games were very entertaining!

I asked Noah if he wanted to play soccer again in the fall, to which he replied "YES!". So, I guess more soccer is in our future!

Here are some pictures from one of the "good weather" games. Noah even made a goal during this game! He was so, SO, proud of himself...and we were so proud of him too! Go Noah!

He kicked it right by the goalie!
Check out that face! So happy!

Noah is so lucky to have a little cheerleader on the sidelines. "Go Noah!"

"Happy Mother's Day"

I just had to share this cute little video that Doug took of the kids for me on Mother's Day. This video made my day...too cute.

Poor little Isaac just puts up with Noah and Leah...all with a smile on his face.

Noah's Preschool Graduation

It really feels like just yesterday I was sending Noah off for his first day of preschool. Well...yesterday he graduated.

Say it isn't so!

I'm guessing that this is a taste of how fast everything is going to go by now that I have a kid in school. Just one more reason to cherish every second with these little ones!

Back to Noah's graduation...it was so great! It was very simple, and oh so very sweet! Seeing Noah all dressed up in his little graduation cap and gown made me so happy. He has grew so much over this past year...he's learned so much, he's developed so much socially, he's made some great friends...just thinking about it makes me so proud. He's such an amazing little boy and I'm so happy for him and this accomplishment!

Our handsome little graduate.
I can't believe how big he is getting...stop growing!
Isaac was so good about sitting on Doug's lap...this picture is just too sweet to not share :).
During the performance, they all sang a handful of songs. It was very, VERY cute to watch.

After the songs, Miss Tanya handed out a diploma and a book of memories from their past year. The book was full of pictures of Noah, projects that he had done, and a video. I was so impressed with his book...it was a wonderful gift to give to the kids to remember preschool.
So sweet!

This was the best...they were all so excited to throw their hats in the air! Love it!
Noah and Miss Tanya. She has been the most wonderful teacher for Noah and I really appreciate all of her hard work and dedication...she really is the BEST!
Afterwards, they had a little ice cream bar with lots and LOTS of toppings. Honestly, I think that Noah was more excited for the ice cream than the actual graduation...afterall, he is only 5 :). It was gooood! {Notice Leah in the background with her pink ice cream cone...}
Noah is already asking when he is going to start kindergarten...let the fun begin :).

Isaac {at 11 months}

My babe is one month away from being ONE. Someone pinch me...it can't be true!

It's crazy and amazing all at the same time.

I'm currently trying to come up with some ideas for Isaac's FIRST birthday party. I absolutley love planning these parties...but I'm definitely not going to go all big as I did with Noah and Isaac. BUT, it is his first birthday, and some fun things need to take place, right? I guess this is all more for me than it is for him, but that's alright :).

Isaac...

...will not sit still. He is on the go all.of.the.time! I now have to bribe him with treats, or a toy, to get him to sit still for a quick picture. He used to be the easiest one to take pictures of...not any more.

...absolutely loves playing with balls. Balls are definitely his favorite toy. He gets a kick out of rolling them around and throwing them. The giggle that goes along with his happiness is contagious...it's awesome!

...has the best little belly laugh in the world! I love the fact that he is extremely ticklish and I can hear his sweet laugh whenever I pinch his cute little thighs.

...has learned to climb the stairs, AND, of course, it's his favorite thing to do. Ugh.

...is starting to eat more table food than baby food. We started to introduce him to more and more foods this month, and he's just loving it. He also started to drink whole milk, and boy does he love it!

...absolutely LOVES books. He loves to sit on my lap while I read to him. He is so fascinated and will sometimes go and grab a book and bring it to me. I love how he's taking after Noah and Leah in the LOVE TO READ department!

...has FIVE teeth! His top three teeth made their appearance last week. He has been a bit fussy due to his teeth, and I don't blame him one bit. BUT, as soon as those three teeth came in, he was back to his happy little self! Yay!

...loves to follow me anywhere and everywhere. He's my little puppy and is always at my feet. I love that he loves to be with me...makes me happy :).

...is the best.sleeper.ever! He goes down for naps so well, and sleeps until 8:30 every morning!

...isn't walking yet, but he will stand and balance on his own. He also loves to hold on to the furniture and walk around. I can see him taking his first steps this month...we'll see.

...has some crazy straight hair, so I took the liberty of giving him his first at-home haircut this past month. It was getting out.of.control and would stick straight out, even when I brushed it.

...is a little mimic. If we make a face or a sound at him, he'll do it right back. The best is when you shake your head around and then he does the same...cracks me up every time!

...says "mama". Noah and Leah's first words were "dada", so I'm pretty happy that Isaac chose to say "mama" first ;).

...is a little snuggle-bug. We can't get enough of his sweet snuggles! It's the best!

...loves it when I hold him and chase around his bro and sis. The laughter from all three of them when I do this melts my heart. Love it!

...is the happiest little baby and the biggest bundle of joy!

Happy Mother's Day

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful mom. I talk to her daily, and she is always so good at calling and seeing how I am doing and if I need anything. She's always there for me, and I can always depend on her. I'm a mommy's girl and I know that we will always be close.

Now...how lucky am I to be the mom to these three precious angels! They are my everything and I love them more then anything. Being a mom is all I ever wanted...and now I'm here, and I'm truly loving the journey. Spending my days with these three is the best...even with all the lows that are involved {crying, sharing, crying, not listening, crying, etc...}. Being a mom really is the best!
Happy Mother's Day!!

Tulips

Tulips are definitely my favorite SPRING flower. I didn't get around to planting any last year, but lucky for me, the previous homeowners planted some themselves! Noah and I have had so much fun going outside the past month and watching our tulips grow and bloom. They are so beautiful...so much so that we have been bringing them in our house so that we can really enjoy them.

The Fire Station

Noah has been waiting to go to the Fire Station with his preschool since school started! Needless to say, he was VERY excited for this field trip. The fire fighter who met with the kids was so good with them and Noah really learned a lot about fire safety.

After watching a movie, the kids had to crawl out of the room...good practice :).
Then we went on a tour of the fire station and went out to see the fun stuff...the trucks! Noah just sat there looking up at it in amazement.
Then the time came to go in the fire truck and look around. Don't you just love the forced smile...that's my Noah.
And he was able to get dressed up in the *real* fire uniform, which was so heavy!

Firefighter Noah!

Easter 2011

We had a wonderful Easter this year. It was definitely very busy weekend, but that's just the way things have been lately.

On Saturday, we got with the Fowler family every year for an Easter Egg Hunt. I remember doing this every year as a child, and it's so much fun to see my own kids enjoy it too!

Doug helping the kids get their goodies.

Leah finding more treats.
Candy makes her happy :).
The kids comparing their goods...

Every year, after the egg hunt, my Grandma throws candy out for *all* of the kids to grab. Noah and Leah raised their hands when she asked "Who wants some candy??" I love the look on Leah's face!
Grandma Fowler throwing the last of the candy.

Oh wow...talk about too much candy. Don't worry, Doug and I were more than willing to help them eat it :).

We got together with Doug's family on Sunday for another egg hunt. Seriously, how cute are these kids?!?! Love them all to pieces!

Yes, it was a fun Easter full of lots and LOTS of candy. Just the way we like it!
