Leah {Right Now}

Oh my...this girl......she keeps us on our toes each and every day. She is full of lots of sugar, and LOTS of spice, and LOTS and LOTS of everything nice! As of today, Leah...
...is completely obsessed with learning! I know that this is totally normal for her age, but I absolutely love watching her learn new things each and every day. I especially love watching her concentrate SO hard when she is coloring and writing her letters. I can already tell that she is going to be a perfectionist.
...is the absolutely worst little sleeper at night...and it drives both Doug and I bonkers! Seriously...I am so, SO sick of being woken up over and over in the middle of the night. Well, in all honestly, I think that Doug gets the bad end of this because Leah is beginning to know better to wake me up. I just hope that we find a remedy for this very soon!
...is keeping us laughing all of the time. She loves to have a smile on her face, and she loves to make sure that everyone around her does as well. We are always looking forward to what she is going to say or do next that will crack us up!
...is still completely obsessed with Barney. And I am totally sick of Barney! That dino drives me nutty, but she can't get enough! I pretty much have to leave the room whenever it comes on because I'm so sick of it. She just can't get enough of all that singing and dancing around...I guess I'm just going to have to get used to it!
...has started a ballet class that she absolutely loves! I need to take some pictures/videos of her because she is so, SO cute to watch. She looks forward to going to her class every week and she really does such a wonderful job following the instruction from her teacher. I'm SO excited that she loves to dance!
...is such a girl! Or, as I call her, a little mommy! She absolutely LOVES her babies and taking care of them. She also loves taking care of her real baby...Isaac! The moment that Isaac cries or starts to fuss, she is right by his side to make sure that he is ok. She definitely reminds me of me when I was a little girl :).
...is definitely a little mommy's girl. I always wanted a little princess of my own, and now I do...and I couldn't ask for anyone better. She loves getting all dressed up, putting my makeup on, helping me do my chores...I love that she wants to be like me. It makes me feel good. That said, she is also a HUGE daddy's girl!
...is still a little picky when it comes to eating, but she's getting better. Lately she has been obsessed with all things healthy, which is defninitely a step in the right direction. I just don't give her a hard time anymore when it comes to eating...I was tired of stressing over what was going in her mouth, and now that I don't make a fuss over it, she eats better! Go figure!
...absolutely LOVES animals! Whenever we are at my parent's house, she will spend majority of her time with their kitties, Macey and Luna. Same thing when we go to Doug's parents or Aunt Annie's house...she
...is a lover of all things pretty. She loves to have her hair done up with bows, and she LOVES wearing pretty skirts and dresses. I made this cute little skirt for her this summer that she is in love with and is constantly asking to wear...I didn't think that she would like it as much as she does. How lucky am I that I get to make darling little creations for this cute little princess...she makes my creations look good :).
...loves to help me around the house...but only when she wants to. I pretty much always has to be her idea, or no go. She does not like being told what to do...which isn't always a good thing. BUT, if she decides she wants to vacuum, or clean up her toys...well then, she does it and she does it right!
Yes...we can't imagine life without our little princess. All of that sugar and spice is a wonderful thing to have around! We sure to love her to pieces!

Gardner Village I 2011

We went to Gardner Village today...along with everyone else in Utah! It was seriously so busy! We still had a great time! It was so much fun spending time with some of our most favorite people...I am seriously so thankful for my family! They're the best and we LOVE spending time will all of them {we sure did miss having the Kelly fam with us too!}.

Look...they do love one another ;). The traditional cousin picture...man, oh man...what a good looking group of kids!

Isaac was a bit grumpy towards the end of our outing...so my remedy to cure his sadness was his own sucker! He was thrilled as can be about his little treat. The things we'll do to make our babes happy :).

We've been to Gardner Village every year, but I usually don't post the pics. Check out these cute pics from 2008!
