Happy Independence Day!!!

Happy Independence Day!!!

The Fourth of July is by far one of our favorite holidays. Every year we go to the Provo Parade with Doug's family. This year, we actually made it to the parade on time {I know, I know...amazing!!} and I am so glad that we did because Noah had such a fun time watching the trucks, the marching bands, and the horses! It was quite hot, but we managed to make it through the entire parade. Afterwards, we went to Doug's cousin's house for their yearly 4th of July bash. So much fun! THEN, we went to Brickoven for lunch and had the best pizza...it was really good this year. THEN, to top it all off, we went to Doug's parent's house for a BBQ. This year, we had a little Smith Family Reunion, so most of Doug's family was there, which was great! There were a lot of kids there and Noah had a fun time playing with all of the boys that were his age. We were all pretty exhausted by the time the fireworks were going to start, so we just got in the car and drove to Orem to see the fireworks from the Stadium of Fire. I love this holiday and it is so great to celebrate our freedom and reflect on the great country that we live in! We hope that everyone had a wonderful day as well :)!!!

I just adore Leah's smile!
It was pretty hot at the parade, so we got Noah a popsicle to cool him down. He loved it!!!
Noah insisted that he eat his watermelon all by himself. He's very independent!
The family at Brickoven {Leah was asleep}.
I just love this picture of Connor...he's adorable!!!
Noah and Leah in their 4th of July outfits!
Noah was beyond tired in this picture and don't worry, Leah was not hurt in the taking of this picture.
