Gardner Village and a Halloween/Birthday Party

Yesterday we went to Gardner Village with Doug's family. I love all of the little shops there and it is so much fun to walk around, especially at Halloween when there are witches roaming the paths. I especially enjoyed the Carmeled Apple from the candy store :).

Afterwards, we all went to Andrea's house for a Halloween Party and to celebrate Karin's Birthday. I think the best part of the party was when Steffanie, Doug's sister, showed us her Halloween costume. She is Mrs. Incredible to go along with her little boy Jacob. How cute is this?!?!

Where is Noah?

I was doing laundry today, and after I put a load in I came out and couldn’t find Noah anywhere. I could hear him giggling, but I had no idea where he was! I started calling his name, but I still couldn’t find him! Right before I started to panic, I looked over at the drying rack that was covered with clothes and saw Noah poking his head out! He was laughing so hard because he knew that he had found the perfect hiding place. I hope that this isn’t the start of a daily hide-and-go-seek game! I just had to take some pictures of him hiding…

Imagination

Noah has been using his little imagination all of the time lately. I have so much fun watching him "fix" his Noah's Ark boat, or ZOOM his car around the kitchen, or share his cup of "water" with his teddy bear!! Here are some pictures of Noah sharing with Snuggles (his bear)...so cute!

Week 17

Well, I am 17 weeks prego, so we are almost half way there! This pregnancy has gone by so slowly for me, mainly because I have been so sick. But, the good news is that I am FINALLY feeling better! Yay! I sometimes get sick at night, but nothing as bad as it has been the past 10 weeks!! I have finally gained some weight, but I am not showing at all. Maybe on my next post I will have some "look at my belly grow" pictures to share :). I also haven't felt the baby move yet, but I am sure that will happen within the next few weeks. So exciting!!!

I went to the doctor today and Dr. Aagard said that everything looks good and that the babies heart is really strong. Our next appointment is on November 16....this is the BIG appointment when we have our ultrasound. Like I have said before, I just want a healthy little baby and I am so excited to be able to "see" this person that is growing inside of me. We will find out if Noah is having a brother or sister too! I am excited!!

Noah helped Grandpa Fowler in the yard today. He is such a good little helper!!

Go Utes!!!

The UTES delivered tonight!!! They beat Louisville 44-35! Go Utes!!! We had our friends, the Petersen's, over to watch the game with us. They have a little girl, Hattie, who is 3 months younger then Noah. Noah LOVES it when kids his age come over to play, and they had such a fun time playing together this evening. Noah had a grand old time pushing Hattie around in his Tonka Truck.

Back to Sewing!

I have been feeling better this past week (thank goodness!), so I have started doing some sewing again. I swear, once I start, I can't stop!! Here are some bags that I made for a family friend. I just thought I would share :).

The Cheesecake Factory Is Coming!!!!

Ok, my life is complete (wink, wink). In my old post about IKEA coming to Salt Lake, I said that "Now all we need is a Cheesecake Factory and an In-N-Out Burger and Doug and my life will be complete (wink, wink!)." Well, In-N-Out is coming to St. George, and today I found out that The Cheesecake Factory is opening at Fashion Place Mall on November 1st!!! For those of you that havent' been there, you MUST go once it opens. NOW, when you go, you MUST get some dessert! That is the best part!! You can't go to this place and not have some of their wonderful dessert! Oh, yeah....LIFE IS GOOD :)!!!

First Craft Class

Tonight I went to my first Craft Class, which is a class that I am going to start attending monthly. I have always enjoyed doing crafts, but it is so much more fun when you are doing it with other people who can help you as you go. The class that I am going to is put on by a lady in Highland and it is held in her basement, so it is very informal. Each month I get to choose what I want to do, so everyone is always doing something different, which is great because I am able to see what I can do at the next class. I had a really good time tonight and I am really excited to be taking this class! Tonight I did something kind of easy, since it was my first time. Here is what I made for Halloween (BTW...I LOVE Halloween and this time of year!! I just hope it doesn't get too cold too soon!):

Week 13

So, I went to the doctor yesterday for my second prenatal appointment. It was GREAT to hear the babies heartbeat for the first time and Dr. Lind said that it sounded healthy. Yay!!! All we want is a healthy baby! It was a really short visit and it pretty much just consisted of me trying to find a remedy to this HORRIBLE morning sickness and listening to the babies heart. I am still extremely sick and I have not gained any weight yet during this pregnancy. I honestly forgot how bad morning sickness really is...I was really sick with Noah too, and it is a good thing that you forget how bad it is or else you wouldn't have any more kids! Anyway, I am at the end of my first trimester, so HOPEFULLY I start feeling better soon!!!

According to the weekly email that I get from Babycenter.com, the baby is "only about 3 inches long crown to rump — roughly the size of a jumbo shrimp — and weighs just about an ounce." I love how they compare the size of the baby to food! Makes me laugh!

Only 7 more weeks until we find out what we are having! What do you think we are having???

Rat Tail

Noah has had this "Rat Tail" growing down the back of his neck. Uncle Spencer has been urging us to keep it, but we finally decided to cut it off. Here are the before and after shots. Bye, bye "Rat Tail"!!!
